Education for physically challenged:
SEP initiated All Gujarat Braille Reading Competition, which received tremendous response. SEP conducted the competition for 3 consecutive years, and then BPA (Blind Peoples’ Association) willingly accepted the responsibility of continuing the same. It is now a regular and very popular annual program of BPA.
Next SEP has started to publish a quarterly magazine in Braille, SPARSH. This serves duel purpose. On one side it gives much needed quality reading material in Braille, and at the same time spread the message of environment awareness and value education among students and teachers. The magazine is being mailed to all the schools across Gujarat.
